CURRICULUM VITAE
Gina Gianbone. In 2020, I became an “American” songwriter when I discovered that the musical art inside of my heart could save me from the restrictions of the “lockdown” of Covid. In an attempt to escape reality, I opened my notebook filled with my poetry, and began a long-distance musical collaboration with the talented Italian composer, Giorgio Caserini. Forty-one of our songs have since become a reality, and I have stepped into my dream. Currently we are recording our 4th CD: TENDERLY with MY LOVER MAN. Though I don’t (normally) sing covers, I had thought about covering MY LOVER MAN for many years. The fact that it was written for a woman to sing but not yet attempted by one, (Thank you, Patti, for this oversite!) was my sign that MY LOVER MAN was meant for me.
