CURRICULUM VITAE

Trapper Schoepp's latest album, "Siren Songs," recorded at Johnny Cash's Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, TN, pays homage to his musical heroes while exploring themes of folklore and nautical imagery. Notably, Schoepp co-wrote a song with Bob Dylan in 2019, making him the youngest musician to do so, which led to international recognition and over a hundred tour dates. The album features traditional American and Irish folk music, with influences from artists like the Clancy Brothers and Paul Brady. Recorded live with a talented studio band, including producers John Jackson and Patrick Sansone, the album captures the intensity and joy of shared musical moments. Inspired by the historic setting and unique instruments like Cash's guitar and June Carter Cash's piano, Schoepp's songs explore themes ranging from romance to the effects of war. With plans to tour in 2023, Schoepp looks forward to sharing his music and connecting with audiences once again.
