CURRICULUM VITAE
BUCK'S is a blend of musical intents started up in 2014 by Carlo Murru, multi-instrumentalist, founder of various groups and collaborator in several projects including tributes to singer-songwriters, cover rock bands and new releases. For years he worked to improve himself as a musician, composer, and writer, writing and recording an album of songs in English.
In 2012 he met his musical "blood brother", Simone Vaga, guitarist terminally ill with rock and Springsteen with 11 of the Boss’s concerts under his belt (the first, stunning, in '99 in Assago).
With his Fender, he has perfected his skills over the years by playing everything, influenced mainly by M. Knopfler, E. Clapton, Prince and Bruce himself. The two friends played a few years in Troppe Volte Zero, one of the most faithful and popular tribute acts dedicated to the "Prince" F. De Gregori.
Other projects came into being over the years as the two strengthened their friendship and musical alchemy. Both have very similar tastes and it is there to be heard in their live performances... where songs by the Boss, whom both adore, are never missing.
Buck's also collaborates with Pamela Manzo, a singer of rare talent and determination who has also performed in the past with her rock bands in Europe. Pamela shares several projects with the two: a tribute band to Elisa Toffoli "Vibes & Flowers" and the cover project "Pam e le Storie Acustiche", which offers a mix of pop-rock hits; true live-marathons brimming with passion and energy.
