CURRICULUM VITAE

Max Grassi was born in Rome on February 4, 1970 but grew up in the Milanese suburb of Sesto San Giovanni. Always omnivorous of everything having to do with music, he belonged to various bands in his high school years up until that key meeting with Lorenzo Galletti, still an inseparable companion on his musical explorations.

Shortly thereafter, combining his passion for literature with his passion for musical notes, Max began writing songs that comprised his first 2 self-produced records: Dove inciampano i sogni (1997) and Dopo la pioggia (1998).

Max also became a professional journalist simultaneously with this line of work - after dealing with entertainment, culture and politics he finally approached sports journalism - and began, with pen in hand, to travel the world over to write about some of the most relevant events.

Completely absorbed by work, ten years passed before he got his head around the idea for the new album -La vita che resta- which was released only in 2008. A less intimate and more narrative record.

In November 2017 the first true record, Bogart Hotel, was released as a CD on all streaming platforms. The band line-up was Rigo Righetti, Robby Pellati (Rocking Chairs, Ligabue) and Livio Magnini on guitar (Bluvertigo)

To date he is working on the album Balthazar which was to be released during 2020; recorded entirely at home, the album features Andrea Braido as its sole guest artist.
