CURRICULUM VITAE
Born in Como on 27/06/1999
Guitarist and singer of the band Five Quarters and philosophy student at the Università degli Studi of Milan.
Five started out in 2014 as a blues band making its way into clubs in Lombardy and Northern Italy.
In 2018 it won the national contest Obiettivo BluesIn and performed on the main stage at the Pistoia Blues Festival.
The energy of its live shows and the band’s characteristic sound allowed it to create an increasingly greater relationship with progressively larger audiences, built up with more than 100 dates in two years’ time.
The band won first prize of the 2018 and 2019 editions of the local contest Atomica.
Five Quarters’ music was included in the soundtrack of the RAI TV series Ognuno è perfetto, which aired in December 2019.
The band participated in the 2019 edition of XFactor, reaching the live auditions in Turin’s Pala Alpitour and receiving 3 positive opinions from 4 judges.
In April 2020 the band released its first original song in Italian "Storie Nuove", the first song of the new album of the same name in the recording phase.
In August the song "Tutto In Una Foto" was the official theme song of the AIM Festival (of which the band was headliner) held at the Castello Sforzesco in Milan.
On April 30, 2021, the first album Storie Nuove was released, distributed under the Bagana - B District label.
The new album marked the debut of the voice of Tommaso Imperiali, already the band’s frontman and guitarist, and the transition to Italian in writing lyrics.
Tommaso participated as a soloist in the 2020 edition of Cover Me, interpreting “The Promised Land” in Italian and taking third place.
