CURRICULUM VITAE
I’m Leonardo Cereda. I’ve just turned 19 (17/05/2003) and live in Milan. I’m in the 5th year of high school and obviously music is my passion, as lots of people could tell you. I’ve been playing guitar for around 3 years and started singing 2 years ago. I’m studying to improve both of these.
I’ve played live in a few bars in Milan (Art Mall and Mare Milano above all) both acoustic and with backing tracks I play myself. I play cover songs and my own compositions. I started off with a percussionist friend, who’s given up now though...
What can I say? Compared to all the professional musicians I’ve heard taking on the Boss’s songs, at the age of 19 I certain can’t claim to have many notes and experiences under my belt. I don’t have lots of likes or followers but the idea of playing a song I’m madly in love with has got me casting off my doubts and so I’ve decided to put myself to the test.
I’ve tried to put soul and respect into it. I’ve left well alone, unlike some wonderful versions I’ve heard. All I’ve done is rework my version with strings, acoustics, piano and a drum kick that sounded right to me...
Then, with all the imperfections dictated by my limited experience, I hope the result is at least worthy of your attention. My story is just beginning and my music biography is threadbare but you have to start somewhere... and I decided to start with Bruce.
