CURRICULUM VITAE
Pol en Tino: we are a duo from Valle d’Aosta formed in 2004 with a shared passion for Simon&Garfunkel. Soon afterwards we enlarged our repertoire with covers by other great international and Italian artists and our own songs. In 2008, our participation at Mogol ‘s CET gave a great boost to our song writing. Our songs are gathered into two CDs: Prima che sia notte (2006) and Da Grandi (2013), both of which can be downloaded on all the main online platforms. In 2020 we also recorded La Canzone Del Tampone, which came out with a fun video in January 2021. Our video Gli Sballati Della Quarantena came out in 2022.
Katia Perret: Valle d’Aosta musician and singer-songwriter. After years of music studies on the piano and, to an even greater extent, the accordion, during a long period in France at Cnima (Centre national et international de musique et accordéon), Katia now ranges over various music genres from folk to French musette and pop to jazz, playing in various music formations. She recorded her first album Notes vers le ciel with accordion arrangements of work ranging from Astor Piazzolla, to Rossini by way of the 'new musette’ genre. Her last work Le fil du temps includes music of her own composition most recently in her own mother tongue Franco-Provençal together with other local artists and accompanying herself on the piano, guitar, electric bass, accordion, accordina and harmonica.
