CURRICULUM VITAE
THE CROWSROADS are an Italian folk-rockblues duo with a gritty, engaging sound made up of brothers Matteo (guitar and vocals) and Andrea Corvaglia (harmonica and vocals), which stands out for its original use of the harmonica, solid guitar rhythms and vocal harmonization. They have been on the road for over a decade, since they were teenagers, and have opened concerts by international musicians such as Robben Ford, John Popper & Jono Manson, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, Steve Forbert, Judith Owen, Stef Burns, Treves Blues Band, Frankie Chavez, Danny Bryant and Gnola Blues Band and have performed at events such as Pistoia Blues, Buscadero Day and the Faenza M.E.I. They have won original music concerts (especially the Italian original music competition L'Artista che non c'era in 2016). Their most recent concert, On The Ropes, came out in 2019. It is all original tracks and includes three international partnerships with Sarah Jane Morris, Jono Manson and Frankie Chavez. In 2022 the album came out in a deluxe version, in conjunction with a best-of collection by the duo being released in digital stores across northern Europe.
