CURRICULUM VITAE
“Dream Band”, whose logo is Jonathan Livingston Seagull (the one that did not want to fly like the others), came into being from Emilio ‘Zap’ Zappella’s dream. His passion for music led him to travel the world in discovery of the places where modern music was born from the 1960s onwards: Memphis, New Orleans, Nashville, Chicago and London.
Despite numerous trips, Emilio was left with the frustration of being unable to play any instrument. It was then that he decided, with the fundamental help of instructor Andrea Mignani, to learn to play the guitar. After a short time, also thanks to his signature streak of madness, they founded the Dream Band together.
The Dream Band’s setlist ranges from rock and blues to country rock, flirting with all the greatest artists and performers of these genres, offering sophisticated arrangements and creative reinterpretations.
The group has released two demos to date and is planning a third that will be ready after the summer.
