Franky & The Blind Zeroes came into being in 2021 firmly committed to having their say in the Cover Me contest on Bruce Springsteen songs. The single interpretation of “Factory” was followed by other superb reinterpretations during the second edition of the contest, allowing the group to put together an entire repertoire of Boss covers in a decidedly revisited key. From the vision of Davide Lanfranchi and with the essential participation of Andrea Sirico on guitars, Alex Sirico on bass and Donato Giambersio on drums, here is the timid and lukewarm version of “State Trooper”, the gem (one of many) from the 1982 epic Nebraska.
